Day 1

Phnom Penh

Your tour begins with a visit to Tuol Sleng Museum and the Killing Fields – solemn reminders of the Khmer Rouge regime, and sites integral to understanding the Cambodia of today. To close the day, take a relaxing stroll along the Tonle Sap River before retiring to your luxury hotel.

Day 2

Phnom Penh

Today, you'll see the city sights of Phnom Penh with a visit to the National Museum, the majestic Royal Palace and the iconic Foreign Correspondents Club. You'll also be treated to a performance by the Cambodian Living Arts organization and even try out your own moves in a dance class. You'll also see the ancient capital of Phnom Udong, with its impressive chedis and temples still intact. In the evening, return to your five-star hotel.

Day 3

Kep

The seaside city of Kep is your next destination. This area is famous for its crab and locally-grown kampot pepper, and you'll enjoy some of the best seafood dishes in Asia here. King Sihanouk's abandoned palace is in the nearby hills – a worthwhile diversion – or you can take a day trip out to the charming Rabbit Island – Koh Tonsay – and enjoy a swim in the Gulf of Thailand's warm tropical waters.

Day 4

Koh Rong

Koh Rong

Day 6

Siem Reap

Fly to the heritage city of Siem Reap and explore the Angkor temple complex which dates from the late 12th century and is a truly fascinating remnant of Khmer history. Today you get to explore Angkor Thom, Bayon Temple and Ta Prohm with an archaeologist as your own private guide. After visiting these amazing monuments, head to the local markets and haggle for mementos.

Siem Reap

Today you'll travel to the 10th century Banteay Srei temple, a fascinating red sandstone tribute to the Hindu god Shiva. After that, check out Khmer arts and crafts in a bespoke shopping experience. In the evening, return to your hotel for dinner, or explore the restaurants and street stalls of Siem Reap.

Day 8

Siem Reap

A trip to Siem Reap is not complete without seeing the sunrise at Angkor Wat, the famous World Heritage Site. For your final day, you'll get to experience this beautiful sight before visiting the Siem Reap School of Arts, where young students learn traditional Khmer apsara dancing. To add some really special experiences to your trip, we recommend getting a feel for the city from a different angle with a helicopter tour, and capping off your trip with a romantic private dinner on temple grounds.

Day 9

Departure

Today is the final day of your journey exploring Cambodia's coast and rich culture. After breakfast, enjoy your time at leisure until your private transfer to the airport for your flight onward.
