The white marble Taj Lake Palace seems to float magically in the middle of the stunning Lake Pichola, facing the city of Udaipur against the backdrop of the Aravalli Mountains. Devi Garh
Devi Garh is an 18th-century fort palace in the village of Delwara. Much like any traditional dwelling, Devi Garh revolves around courtyards – five to be precise. The palace is surrounded by lush green fields and mountains on three sides, overlooks Delwara, and is close to the temples of Eklingji and Nagda. The palace has been sumptuously restored as a 39-room boutique hotel. Materials used include local marbles and semi-precious stones; design and seamlessly incorporates the old with the new. There is a multi-cuisine restaurant and a bar for drinks, in addition to a plethora of private dining experiences on the grounds. The property is a 1.5-hour drive from the airport in Udaipur (UDR).
