Carcosa Seri Negara

Originally built in 1904 as the official residence of the highest British representative to the Malay States, Carcosa Seri Negara is a hallmark of Malaysia’s colonial past. Restored as a boutique hotel, Carcosa Seri Negara has 13 elegant Victorian-styled suites set on a hill overlooking the infamous Lake Gardens. Each of the 13 suites is named after Malaysian states and has sizeable, tastefully appointed bedrooms, luxurious bathrooms and cozy sitting areas or verandas. Each is distinctive in style and offers a unique culturally inviting experience. In-suite amenities include mini-bar, television, surround sound systems, DVD and Internet access. There is a fitness center with a jogging track, tennis courts, and an outdoor pool. The business center offers photocopying services and wi-fi, which is also available in all public areas. Mandarin Oriental Hotel

The opulent Mandarin Oriental Hotel is spectacularly located next to the twin spires of Cesar Pelli's Petronas Towers, among the tallest buildings on earth. Over 300 original pieces of artwork are featured throughout the hotel, showcased by the traditionally inspired décor.
