Inle Princess Resort
The Inle Princess Resort lies on the east shore of Inle Lake set against dramatic mountains. Forty-six chalets built in a traditional Shan style with high peaked roofs are lined along the waterfront— 27 with views of the lake, and 19 with views over landscaped tropical gardens full of exotic flowers. The resort is an hour’s drive from the airport in Heho (HEH) followed by a 30-minute boat ride. There is a restaurant on the property serving Shan, Intha and Chinese cuisine, with a special set menu for vegetarian guests. The resort does not have a fitness center, but does have a spa, and offers fax and Internet services.

This deluxe boutique hotel and spa on the shores of Inle Lake is a beautiful blend of contemporary and classic Burmese furnishings. The 38 rooms and villas have private balconies and magnificent views of the lake. The restaurants offer indoor and outdoor dining, and some of Myanmar’s finest food. The Bougainvillea Restaurant serves international and Asian cuisine and the Lotus Bar is a stylish and comfortable spot to have a cocktail or play a game of chess. The Inle Lake View Spa has a wide variety of massage treatments, however there is no fitness center. The hotel is equipped with Internet and email access and is a 40-minute drive from the airport in Heho (HEH).
