Eskaya Resort
The intimate Eskaya Resort is located on Panglao Island, which is at the southernmost tip of Bohol, an Island province in the central Philippines. The resort has a sprawling 40-acre property fronted by fine, white-sand beach, but only 15 well-appointed, thatched-roof balai villas, two of which have two bedrooms. All the villas are constructed with wood, bamboo and other natural materials, and finished with traditional Filipino artwork and textiles. Guests can spend their days relaxing on the beach, engaging in a wide variety of water sports, including a selection of scuba trips run out of the on-site Dive Shop. There are also a lovely infinity-edge pool and soothing skin and body treatments at the Handuraw Spa, perched on a hill overlooking the Bohol Sea. Dining options include the poolside Lantawan Restaurant, and alfresco dining with specially prepared menus in a number of locations on the resort grounds, including the beach. The resort offers some business services and there is wi-fi Internet available throughout. Eskaya is a 25-minute drive from the main airport in Tagbilaran (TAG).
