The International Airlines Travel Agent Network (IATAN) is the American arm of IATA, the global community of officially accredited travel agencies. IATAN endorses bona fide travel sales professionals and travel agencies that are engaged in the sale or brokerage of travel-related services to the general public. As an IATAN Travel Sales Intermediary (TSI) Agency whose principals hold the IATAN Travel Agent ID Card, Remote Lands is officially authorized as a US Airline Appointed Agency.

The American Society of Travel Agents (ASTA) is the world's largest, and one of the most prestigious, associations of travel professionals. The mission of ASTA and its affiliated organizations is to enhance the professionalism and profitability of members worldwide through effective representation in industry and government affairs, education and training, and by identifying and meeting the needs of the traveling public.

The Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) is a membership association acting as a catalyst for developing the Asia Pacific travel and tourism industry. In partnership with PATA's private- and public-sector members, it enhances the growth, value and quality of travel and tourism to, from and within the region.
