The Four Seasons Chiang Mai has a multitude of facilities and services to keep guests occupied and entrainment, relaxed and intrigued, without even leaving the premises. Why not try your hand at a spot of Thai cooking, have a dip in the infinity pool, play a game of tennis or golf, have a workout in the gym or take it a little easier in the spa, sauna and steam room.

Cooking School

The impressive cooking school in the resort has eight individual cooking stations suitable for one or two people, and a large demonstration area. Students will learn the basics of Thai cooking stating with key ingredients such as lemongrass, ginger, galangal, turmeric and garlic all grown in the resort's herb garden. The class will then create a unique Thai menu from scratch and enjoy the fruits of their labor after the lesson.

Families Activities

The Four Seasons Chiang Mai welcomes families and provides board games, computer and video games, movies, PlaySations and other toys for their enjoyment. There is also a kids club called the Gecko Club which cares for children aged 4 to 12 and provides entertainment and meals.

Fitness Facilities

The resort has a modern and fully equipped gym, weight training area, sauna, Thai herbal steam room, heated outdoor whirl pool, cold plunge pool. The health club alsooffers bikes for guests to explore the surrounding area on.

Golf

The world-class Summit Green Valley Country Club's 18-hole 72-par course is but a mere five-minute drive away from the resort. The course is located in a lush verdantarea close to fresh water lakes and mountain backdrops. Equipment and clothing can be hired.

Lan Sai Village

Lan Sai Village is a luxury-shopping village located within the resort grounds. The arcade houses five shops with the finest selected gifts, souvenirs and other items from Thailand and Southeast Asia. The boutiques include; Jim Thompson silks, handmade jewelry and hand woven textiles as well as antiques and other unique nick-knacks from top Chiang Mai's designers. There is also an adjoining cafe serving fresh coffee, tea and Thai inspired cakes.

Pools

The resort has a 66-foot swimming pool perfect for lazy days in the warm Thai sunshine. The resort looks over picturesque rice terraces and the mountains in the distance. An additional infinity pool and whirlpool are located on a lower level and are for adults only. Guests may indulge in drinks from the bar at the poolside and a foot massage service is also available.

Spa

The spa at the Four Seasons Chiang Mai is a truly remarkable Thai inspired haven. On entering the tranquil reception area guests will notice the subtle smells of Thai aromatic oils, the soft lighting and highly-trained inviting therapists. The spa offers a range of day and half day packages, Chakra blessing rituals, body rituals, massages, facials, yoga, body treatments and even tips on how you can recreate a Thai spa atmosphere at home.

Tennis

The resorts own tennis club boasts two well-kept floodlit tennis courts. Equipment and clothing is complimentary.

 

The Four Seasons Resort Chiang Mai is a truly magical place with a variety of restaurants and bars interspersed amongst the verdant Thai landscaped grounds. The resort has a wide range of dining options including authentic Thai food and traditional northern Thai style khantoke dinner ceremonies to fine Italian dining and a couple of funky cocktail bars.



Elephant Bar

Elephant Bar is an ideal place to soak in the sunset and the resorts tranquil surroundings. The open-air pavilion style bar is decorated with large elephant umbrellas and offers a range of wines, beers, spirits and cocktails.

Khantoke Dinner

Guests may experience a traditional khantoke dinner- an old-fashion northern Thai or Lanna style dinner party. The cultural feast is based around sitting around a low rattan table and sharing small delicious dishes of food accompanied by sticky rice. The dishes consist of curries, fried pork skin, steamed vegetables, chili pastes and traditional Chiang Mai sausages. Whilst enjoying the meal northern Thai dancers will perform a traditional candle dance to the sounds of Lanna musicians.

Ratree Bar

Ratree Bar is named after a variety of jasmine. The bar has a smart yet causal atmosphere with large comfortable day beds, chairs and sofas. At night the bar is romantically lit up with candle light and provides the perfect setting to watch the sun go down. Guests may sample the bar's signature mango and sticky rice cocktails or rare wines and imported beers.

Sala Mae Rim

Sala Mae Rim serves mouthwatering authentic northern Thai and Thai cuisine. The large restaurant is set on decking over looking the beautiful Mae Rim Valley below. Diners can expect to find chefs specialties such as wok-fried lobster with cashew nuts, broiled lamb rack with spicy tamarind sauce and sticky rice and steamed chicken with lemon grass. Desserts range from mango and sticky rice, wild honey and lime sorbets to hot chocolate melt with caramelized pineapple and the Sala sundae containing coconut ice cream and Thai petit fours. The restaurant also serves classic afternoon tea and continental breakfast buffets.

Terraces

Terraces serves Italian and international cuisine. The menu features tasty dishes such as quality steak, tender lamb chops, fresh green salad, seared sea bass with cauliflower mousse, cheese boards and classic tiramisu. The northern Thai Lanna stylerestaurant is located beside the main swimming pool, and provides an atmospheric open-air setting against the surrounding rice paddies and the distant Doi Suthep mountain range. The Terraces also has a popular Sunday lunch buffet with free flowing wines.
