History: The Fairmont Peace Hotel is an original art deco building restored to its original opulence, evoking the decadence of old Shanghai.

Fully-equipped for business and leisure, the Fairmont Peace Hotel offer luxurious amenities for all types of travelers. The Fairmont Gold Lounge provides additional care for Fairmont Gold guests, while an onsite spa offers indulgent wellness and beauty therapies for all.

Business Center

A business center is open daily from 7am to 9pm offering range of executive services such as printing, fax and copy, equipment rental, and postal services. PCs, internet, and conference facilities are available.

Fairmont Gold Lounge

Fairmont Gold Guests have access to the lounge, with complimentary continental breakfast, afternoon tea, hors d'oeuvres, evening bar service, iPad and laptop rental, shoeshine and round-the-clock butler service.

Fitness Center

A modern gym offers exercise equipment, treadmills, free weights and stationary bikes, plus a studio for yoga and stretching. Personal trainers are on hand and towels and mats provided.

Peace Gallery

The grand, elaborated decorated walls of the Peace Hotel house a gallery with antique memorabilia and collector's items. Crystal, porcelain and silverware, plus vintage photographs of the hotel and its famous visitors are all on display from 10am to 7pm daily. Guests can also utilize the gallery's reading room or take a history tour to learn more about this beautiful hotel's past.


An indoor temperature-controlled pool provides a tranquil place for a relaxing or invigorating swim. The pool enjoys natural sunlight from a skylight and poolside loungers are available. Towels are provided.

Willow Stream Spa

Drawing upon ancient traditional Chinese therapies, the spa promotes balance of yin and yang via modernized treatments and pampering spa products. Signature experiences are offered as are massage, facials and reflexology. There are also experience showers, steam rooms and saunas, plus full waxing services.

The Fairmont Peace Hotel offers a range of different cosmopolitan dining venues for guests to select from. Stunning rooftop spaces and intimate art deco-inspired lounges create the setting for romantic dining experiences, while Fairmont Lifestyle Cuisine dishes provide healthy gourmet meals made from fresh, nutritious ingredients.

Cin Cin Wine and Cigar Lounge

Located on the mezzanine level, this sleek art deco bar offers a wide selection of Old and New World wines, plus imported cigars. Open Tuesday to Saturday from 6pm to 2am, with regular live entertainment.

Dragon Phoenix

This traditional Chinese restaurant offers top-notch Shanghainese and Cantonese cuisine in an opulently decorated environment. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the specials here include Shanghai hot pot and sizzling pork belly.

Jasmine Lounge

This beautifully restored dining room offers an indulgent afternoon tea, plus beverages and light snacks from 11am to midnight. A wide range of teas are on offer, as are evening cocktails with a Tea Dance taking place every Saturday afternoon showcasing classic ballroom dances from the Golden Age.

The Cathay Room

Open for lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch, the Cathay Room is Shanghai's preferred destination for European fare. Modern home-style dishes are offered a la carte or in a lunch set, with diners enjoying views of the Bund from the terrace.

The Jazz Bar

Inspired by the speakeasy scene of the 1920s and 30s, this bar features live jazz daily with local legends, the Old Jazz Band. The bar serves a list of prohibition-era-themed cocktails, plus European and local bar snacks. Open daily from 5.30pm to 2am.

Victor's Café

This art deco café offers French delicacies, from bistro meals to pastries. Open from 7am to 10pm, guests can pick up a croissant for breakfast or indulge in an Australian wagyu steak.
