Fitness Center

The gym at La Residence offers all modern equipment with treadmills and exercise bikes looking out over the river through floor-to-ceiling windows. Open from 6am to 9pm.

The onsite boutique offers a range of jewelry, local arts and crafts, local designer wear and "Zen-Art Deco" ware.

Le Spa

This wonderfully restored spa sports many original art deco features, including intricate stained-glass windows, chequerboard flooring and delicate plasterwork over seven treatment rooms. Therapies include Vietnamese massage and cupping, Indian head massage, hot stones, detoxifying treatments and beauty rituals. The spa includes a herbal steam room and Jacuzzi.


An outdoor saltwater pool is located in the gardens of La Residence by the Perfume River. The pool area offers sun loungers and parasols and towels are provided.

International, Vietnamese and French are is offered in stylish colonial venues both indoors and out. Guests can enjoy views of Perfume River and the Imperial Citadel while sampling top-notch local and regional cuisine.

Le Gouverneur Bar

This elegant venue is furnished in authentic art deco fashion, with a fresco custom painted by Vietnamese-based French artist Ronald Renaud adoring a wall. Snacks and beverages are served here from 9am to midnight.

Le Parfum

Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, this restaurant specializes in modern European and Vietnamese cuisine. Dishes are created using fresh local produce, and guests can choose from indoor and al fresco terrace dining.

The Colonial Life
