For hair, nails and beauty the salon is open all day. Trained beauticians and hair stylists can address all grooming needs in an opulent and tranquil setting. Bookings are recommended.

The Taj Mahal Palace boasts some of the best restaurants in India, offering award-winning cuisine and unique dining experiences. Chef Oberoi is based at the Taj Mahal Palace, overseeing all properties with more than 30 years’ experience. Guests can also arrange a private dinner in one of the Palace’s many romantic spaces or in their room.


The picturesque gardens surrounding the pool provide an elegant setting for drink and snacks. Smoking cabanas are provided for guests and diners can enjoy a selection of wines, cocktails, juices and desserts.

Harbor Bar

Opened in 1933, the Harbor Bar was the first licensed venue in Mumbai. This stylish art deco bar serves malts, wines and Asian Herb cocktails, plus a menu of international tapas.

La Patisserie

Located amid the shops of the Palace wing, tis cake shop offers delicious deli snacks and bakery items from Chef Rohit Sangwan. Beer and wine is available here, as are take-away treats and gift hampers.

Masala Kraft

Open for lunch and dinner on the lobby level, this restaurant offers traditional Indian cuisine with a modern twist. Live cooking stations prepare dishes to order, utilizing the best Indian spices with cooking techniques that require less oil. Specialty cocktails are also served here.

Sea Lounge

This beautiful art deco space is open all day for light Indian and Western meals, including Indian street food and traditional afternoon tea. In the evenings, it's an ambient location for Champagne or sunset cocktails.


Offering all-day dining, this ambient coffee shop provides an international breakfast buffet, salads, pizza and pasta for lunch and a la carte Indian, Western and Asian cuisine in the evenings. A live band plays daily and dinner guests can enjoy the wine buffet with local and international wines.


This stylish modern restaurant is located on the top floor of the Taj Tower wing, offering Mediterranean fare with panoramic city and harbor views. Open for lunch and dinner, Souk offers a daily brunch buffet, with an extravagant buffet spread every Sunday. A menu that encompasses cuisines from Morocco, Lebanon, Syria, Greece, Turkey and Egypt is created by Syrian Chef Simoun Chakour.


Open in the evenings from 5.30pm, Starboard offers Mexican cuisine, plus a comprehensive range of margaritas. There's an outdoor terrace and DJ to supply music until early morning. Happy Hour is offered daily.

The Golden Dragon

This Chinese restaurant has been providing Mumbai diners with fine Szechuan and Cantonese cuisine for the past 40 years. Open for lunch and dinner, there's a Sunday dim sum brunch and a long list of a la carte options. Steamed seafood and Peking Duck are not to be missed.

The Zodiac Grill

This formal European restaurant is open for lunch and dinner, offering the finest in European cuisine. A favorite haunt of the social elite, diners can enjoy a decadent lunch buffet or degustation menu for dinner, accompanied by world-class wines. Children under 12 are not permitted.

Wasabi by Morimoto

This Japanese restaurant continues to garner international awards each year with its fresh take on Japanese cuisine. Open for lunch and dinner, Iron Chef Morimoto uses imported seafood from Japan alongside a vegetarian menu co-designed by Chef Oberoi.
