Your service was excellent, and as a matter of fact we felt slightly overindulged in luxury and too well looked after at some moments.

The Lodhi

Why We Love This Hotel :

History: The Lodhi’s seal, found on its logo, was inspired by the 15th century Lodhi dynasty, reflecting India’s rich history.

Service: The hotel’s General Managers along with other important members of staff, are always circulating throughout the hotel, attending to guests’ needs and concerns to their utmost ability.

Location: Guests can immerse themselves in the vibrant, thrilling Indian capital of New Delhi with the hotel situated in the heart of New Delhi, only 25 minutes from the international airport.

The Lodhi boasts extensive facilities that are sure to keep guests entertained, fit, cleansed and polished. Each facility features luxurious touches and elements that make it particularly impressive.

Cigar Lounge

The Cigar Lounge features plush leather armchairs, where guests can relax with a fine whiskey and a selection of premium cigars.

Fitness Center

Featuring state-of-the-art Technogym equipment, guests can sweat off their troubles at the hotel's impressive gym. Professional trainers are on hand for those who require one-on-one attention. A Pilates studio is also available for guests use.

Literature loving guests will be pleased by the extensive selection of books available at the hotel's library, which includes material on a range of subjects, in several languages. Rare books on Indian culture can be found here. Wireless internet is also available.

A 50-meter lap pool is a great place for guests to experience a relaxing swim after their workout, and is located just near that gym. The pool is heated in the winter for guests optimal comfort.

The Lodhi's spa is home to eight spacious private rooms equipped with their own steam, shower, bathtub, day beds, and massage tables. Here, trained spa practitioners perform a wide range of therapies that meld traditional Ayurvedic treatments with Western techniques.

Tennis and Squash Courts

The hotel boasts not only three all-weather tennis courts, but also two air-conditioned squash courts. They are tended to by experienced markers and ball boys so that guests can concentrate on their game.

It wouldn't be a true Indian cultural experience without a yoga class. The hotel's three yoga teachers are trained in a range of various yoga disciplines, and teach both group and one-on-one classes. Classes take place in the hotel gardens, or, if guests so wish, in the nearby historic Lodhi Gardens.

Guests will be delighted at the vast array of dining and drinking options at The Lodhi, with everything from contemporary burgers, to traditional Indian curries, to a late-night club.

This popular club invites guests to enjoy supper before it transforms into a nightclub after dark.

Guests can enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner in a casual atmosphere at ELAN restaurant. The chefs here serve up dishes reflecting flavours of regional India, the Mediterranean, and Southeast Asia. There is an adjacent courtyard that serves as an ideal place to observe passersby or meet with friends.
