The hotel’s Riraku Spa has taken the best elements from Eastern and Western healing traditions, and combined them into a range of rejuvenating and unique treatments performed by highly-trained therapists. The spa houses 10 treatment rooms, with two spa suites available.


The hotel features three fabulous dining restaurants and two chic bar lounges, plus a patisserie, all overflowing with tempting culinary delights, from the rarest cuts of tender meat to traditional Japanese cuisine, as well as a vast array of international favorites.

Grill Lounge and Terrace

This relaxed venue is an ideal spot to meet friends or colleagues for a coffee and light snack, or perhaps an afternoon cocktail. Its decor is simple-yet-elegant, with an outdoor terrace that provides a breezy atmosphere with a view in the warm months.

Pastry boutique

The hotel’s own pastry boutique has a wide selection of freshly-baked breads, pastries, and other delicious treats which can be eaten in or taken away.

The Grill

Meat lovers flock to The Grill, which features an open kitchen with a wood-burning oven, as well as a rock-glass counter bar. This all-day dining restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner either inside, or on a decked terrace outside that overlooks a traditional Japanese gardens.


This restaurant’s menu features authentic Japanese cooking, with many local dishes to bring guests the real taste of Kyoto. Dishes range from sushi, to charcoal-grilled vegetables, noodles, and more, all made using fresh local ingredients.

Touzan Bar

This cozy bar has a rustic decor, and serves up high-quality spirits and cocktails, as well as traditional Japanese beers and sake. Happy hour can be enjoyed from 5 - 7pm.

Trattoria Sette

Serving up authentic and hearty Italian food the comes straight out of a show kitchen, this trattoria-style restaurant is a guest favorite. It also features a pastry boutique which features a wide variety of freshly-baked treats.
