Aureum Palace Hotel

Location: The Aureum Palace Hotel is situated in one of Myanmar’s most ancient kingdoms, abundant with old pagodas and crumbling ruins.

Setting: The resort is reminiscent of an ancient oriental settlement with traditional Burmese architecture inspired buildings on 27 acres of beautifully landscaped tropical gardens.

Spa

The resort spa offers private treatment rooms and a selection of Asian inspired treatments. Guests may choose from a traditional Thai or Myanmar massage, body scrubs facials and foot reflexology. 

Swimming Pool

The large outdoor pool is tiled with turquoise ceramic and framed with palm trees, comfortable loungers and shades. Guests may dine alfresco on cocktails, snacks and fresh juices at the pool. 

 

The Aureum has six on-site dining and drinking options serving Asian and European cuisine. The bar provides an ideal spot for drinks at sunset, while the inviting lounge gives guests the perfect excuse for a spot of afternoon tea and sweet treats.

Hero's Club

The Aureum  invite you to experience the very special Mandalay rum sour cocktail served at Hero’s Club. Alternatively discuss the day’s sightseeing over a glass of well-selected wine or beer. 

The Lounge

The Lounge is a laid back venue with traditionally crafted furniture and tropical plants. Guests may browse the black and white photographs of old Bagan that hang on the walls whilst enjoying a spot of afternoon tea, with petit cakes, finger sandwiches, home-made sherbets and pastries and a choice of the finest teas and coffees.

The Shan

The Shan restaurant is run by an esteemed Thai chef and serves Shan, Myanmar and Thai food. The restaurant uses only the freshest ingredients to create aromatic and flavorsome dishes. 

The Terrace at the Lake

Watch classical Myanmar dance performances under the night sky with a drink of your choice at The Terrace at the Lake. Those interested in Myanmar customs and traditions may observe presentations by leading academics of Myanmar history.

Xanadu

Xanadu is an all-day restaurant serving Asian and international food. Diners may enjoy breakfast, lunch, dinner or snacks with far reaching views out towards stunning pagodas. Italian cuisine is one of the restaurant's specialties and guests can expect a menu with fresh home-made pasta accompanied by fine Italian wines.
