Aureum Inle Resort & Spa

Why We Love This Hotel :

Setting: Aureum Inle is located on Inle lake in the heart of Myanmar’s Shan Plateau. The beautiful highland waterway is home to the Intha people, famous for their unique method of boat rowing using the leg.

Exotic Cuisine: The resort’s restaurant serves aromatic Burmese cuisine with views across the majestic Inle Lake.

Design: Aureum Inle is designed so that each villa has its own private terrace facing the lake.

Details: Villas are decorated with attention to detail, including four-poster beds, oriental art, fresh flowers, wooden floors and ambient lighting.

The hotel has a range of facilities including a large outdoor pool looking out towards the lake’s tranquil waters. After a busy day’s touring guests can visit the in-house spa for pampering and treatments inspired by Asian holistic healing. Pre-dinner sprucing can be done at the beauty salon offering hair, nail and body treatments.

Beauty Parlor

The beauty parlor offers hair cutting, manicures, pedicures and more.

Internationally trained therapists are ready to ease away your aches and pains at The Nature Spa with a range of tempting treatments including a Swedish massage using lavender oil, a traditional Myanmar or Thai massage and a head massage using coconut oil.

Swimming Pool

The large outdoor pool and adjoining Jacuzzi look out on to the lake and distant mountains. Guests may sunbathe on comfortable sunbeds or lounge in the shade and dine alfresco with a cocktail in hand.

Aureum Inle has indoor and outdoor dining overlooking the lake. There is also a bar and entertainment club. Look out for Burmese specialties on the menu such as tea leaf salad, steamed fish and hot and sour prawn soup. International food is also available.

The restaurant serves authentic Burmese and Shan food in a refined atmosphere with attentive service. In the mornings guests may try a typical Burmese style breakfast comprising of Mohinga fish soup or Shan noodles and hot tea. In the evenings the restaurant is atmospherically lit up creating a romantic air against the lake backdrop.
