Dwarika's Hotel

Why We Love This Hotel :

Location: Dwarikas, one of Kathmandu, Nepal’s most stunning pieces of architecture, sits within walking distance of the famous Pashupatinath temple, while also being just a short drive away from the airport.

History: The hotel hosts an impressive array of artifacts dating back as far back as the 13th century. The area itself is also teeming with ancient culture, with an impressive history that spans two millennia.

Service: Guests will love the warmth of traditional Nepalese hospitality for which this hotel is widely-praised.

The hotel has gone out of its way to ensure the comfort and happiness of all types of guests, from business travelers to families, to couples on a romantic getaway.

Business Facilities

Executive travelers will enjoy the hotel's business center, which features a wide range of business services, as well as the meeting rooms available for all guests.

Pancha Kosha Himalayan Spa

This unique spa offers therapies that take a page from the ancient medicine and healing techniques, deep rooted in the Himalayas. Treatments are holistic experiences featuring natural herbs, oils and essences that have been sourced locally, while treatment rooms incorporate traditional Nepali design.

The Dwarika's pool has been built to resemble the opulent Malla Dynasty baths of the 12th century. Guests may also enjoy poolside refreshments, including exotic cocktails.

The Dwarika hosts three lavish restaurants and a bar, giving guests a truly memorable culinary experience. Informal dining is available in the courtyard of this ancient building, immersing guests in Kathmandu's rich heritage, which also features in the other main restaurants, which provide guests with the real flavors of Nepal.

This fine Nepalese restaurant takes a page from the ancient culinary Nepali feasts of yesteryear, featuring a slow dining experience, and up to twenty-two courses. Only the freshest ingredients are incorporated into each dish, picked from the Dwarika's own farm.

This restaurant is a nod to the similarities between Nepalese and Japanese civilizations, serving up mouth-watering Japanese food amidst traditional Nepali architecture.

Toran and Fusion Bar

Guests can enjoy all-day dining at this restaurant that offers an array of different cuisines. Meals can be served either in the restaurant's interior or in its outdoor courtyard. The adjoining Fusion Bar is an ideal spot to meet a friend or colleague for drinks, with its location overlooking the hotel's opulent swimming pool.
