History: Kebayoran Baru was originally designed as a garden city; construction of the area began in 1948, and is now a part of Jakarta’s cultural heritage.

Two impressively-sized swimming pools, an elaborate fitness center, tennis and squash courts await guests arriving at the Dharmawangsa. An ultra-luxe spa with several different wellness treatments for the body and soul is also available for guests’ ultimate pleasure.



Fitness Center

The hotel’s fitness center, part of the Bimasena Club, is equipped with a variety of high-tech equipment, and overlooks the hotel’s well-manicured gardens. Lockers are available for guests’ use, alongside a jacuzzi and large community hot tubs, as well as sauna and steam rooms. Squash and tennis courts are also provided.

Meetings and Events

The Dharmawangsa has extensive meeting and event facilities for guests organizing group-oriented events, from business to pleasure. A professional event-planning team is on hand to assist with whatever needs guests may require.

Pools

The Dharmawangsa features two elaborate pools - one outdoor and one indoor. The outdoor pool features a poolside bar, and is open until 7pm. There is also an indoor pool for guests to enjoy in the exclusive Bimasena Club.

Spa

The hotel’s spa is housed in the Dharmawangsa’s exclusive Bimasena Private Club, which features three private suites, as well as saunas, hot tubs, steam rooms, and massage beds. The spa’s specialty is aromatherapy, using a variety of relaxing and revitalizing fragrances to refresh the body and soul. There is also a hairdressing salon, as well as a reflexology and hydrotherapy section on site.

 

With two fine dining restaurants, a contemporary dining restaurant, a chic and stylish bar/lounge and an elaborate bakery, guests of the Dharmawangsa are in for a tempting array of cuisines and culinary delights. From traditional Indonesian cuisine to the finishest Japanese dishes in town, guests will enjoy this tempting culinary journey.



Cake Shop

The hotel’s cake shop serves up the freshest, most delectable cakes and pastries imaginable. Their specialty is a thousand layer cake, made up of soft, buttery puff pastry with light cream and fresh raspberry.

Jakarta Restaurant

This casual all-day dining restaurant combines the old with the new - with flashes of old Jakarta set amidst a contemporary, trendy atmosphere. The dishes here are traditional Indonesian, Asian, and Western.

Majapahit Lounges and Bars

The hotel’s four elegant lounges are vibrant and full of character, from The Tea Lounge, to The Caviar Lounge, the The Bar, and finally The Library - all with their own unique qualities and atmosphere. They serve high tea and an extensive list of beverages, as well as light snacks until midnight.

Sekitei

Sekiei is known as Jakarta’s favorite Japanese restaurant, serving up kaiseki cuisine in a fine dining atmosphere. The restaurant also serves up Teppanyaki and Tempura dishes, as well as fresh sushi and sashimi.

Sriwijaya Fine Dining

This fine dining restaurant has pulled out all the stops to emulate the ancient the ancient Kingdom of Sriwijaya, serving up fine French cuisine in a romantic atmosphere. The restaurant also features a private dining room for up to eight people.
