Taj Pashan Garh

Why We Love This Hotel :

Location: The Taj Pashan Garh is perched in the Vindhya Hills, in the midst of Panna National Park, which in 2007, was endowed with the Award of Excellence for best maintained national park of India, courtesy of India’s Ministry of Tourism.

History: Once a private hunting grounds for Panna’s royal family, the park was declared a wildlife sanctuary in 1981. Nearby Khajuraho is one of India’s most popular tourist attractions, best-known for its sandstone structures dating back over a millennium.

Service: With only 12 cottages, the Taj can offer its guests extremely personalized service in this lush, thrilling jungle safari.

Though trekking through the jungle may be foremost on guests’ minds while staying at this exotic resort, extras like in-room massages and well-stocked libraries certainly provide guests with much-needed downtime, to help with post-safari relaxation.

In-room Massages

Guests can enjoy centuries-old Ayurvedic massage techniques from the comfort of their rooms, with treatments that make use of all-natural ingredients.

A well-stocked library is available for guests hungry for information not only on their local surroundings, but also on Mother India, and more.

The hotel's infinity pool is the ideal place to while away an afternoon, either taking a leisurely dip, or enjoying an exotic cocktail from one of the many sun loungers that line the poolside.

Guests can sample the rich and tantalizing flavors of India at the Taj Pashan Garh’s varied and exotic dining locations. Personalized and intimate meals can be arranged upon request.

Guests may choose from a tasty wake-up call, with their meals being brought to their bedside before their thrilling morning drive. Those who choose to skip the morning drive can enjoy a leisurely late morning breakfast on their private verandahs.

At dinner time, guests may choose from another variety of dining options. The lakeside bullock cart dinners are a popular option, which is a kind of jungle picnic, though with a proper dinner table setup. Carts are separated by lavish curtains and decorated with dazzling aromatic candles. The main dining deck is another option, with ambiance created by lanterns and sigris. As with all other meals, private in-room dining is also an option, while private picnics can be arranged throughout the resort.

For lunch, guests may choose from a few alfresco dining locations, from their private verandah, to a picnic by the park gate, or they may choose to enjoy a relaxed poolside meal.
