Flying by private jet or helicopter is the most comfortable, secure and efficient way to visit all the wonders that Asia has to offer. Avoid the hassles of inconsistent flight schedules and often inconvenient routings by having Remote Lands arrange for you to travel in style and according to your own schedule. The descriptions below will give you an idea of what types of aircraft are available and most appropriate for the different regions in Asia.
The King Air is the perfect aircraft for the short hops of 30 minutes to 2 hours needed to travel through Indochina (Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia), Thailand and Burma with ease.
The King Air is also perfect for short hops around India. Its comfortable streamlined cabin allows for landings at small, remote airports, giving you access to regions that would otherwise take hours of (sometimes rough) driving to reach.
10 day all-inclusive journeys start at $100,000 for two people.
Whether you are traveling from Hong Kong to Hanoi, or Bangkok to Bali, light and midsize jets are best suited to journeys of 2 to 4 hours throughout Asia, and are the perfect size to accommodate a small party of friends, extended families and your personal staff.
10 day all-inclusive journeys start at $125,000 for two people.
Heavy jets are the largest and most sumptuous aircraft available for charter, with ample cabin space and the capability to make long flights of 4 to 10 hours or even more.
Jets of this class are ideal for exploring the far reaches of China and the rest of Asia, and can easily be flown all the way from Europe and the Americas to Asia, perhaps stopping once en route for fuel.
10 day all-inclusive journeys start at $175,000 for two people.
Perfect for hopping from one idyllic atoll to another in the Maldives, or from island to island around the Gulf of Thailand, the Andaman Sea, the Java Sea, the Celebes Sea or the Sulu Sea.
Seaplanes are ideal for travel to remote coves and beaches and can land almost anywhere on water because of course they do not require tarmac runways.
A helicopter can land in the most remote of land locations, allowing you to touch down where there are no airports or roads, and cutting long hours of tedious driving.
We recommend travel by helicopter to the remote deserts and nomadic communities of Mongolia, on the islands of Sri Lanka and Borneo, and in Vietnam for the trip to Halong Bay and a bird's-eye view of its remarkable landscape.
Remote Lands is a full-service travel provider that arranges every detail of your tailor-made Asian journey. In addition to designing your complete itinerary and all your activities on the ground, we will also assist you in finding the ideal jet for your Asian travels. We work with the very best operators, and have access to thousands of aircraft worldwide, from King Airs to Challengers to Gulfstreams. We will work closely with you to determine your precise needs based on your travel distances, the number of passengers and your luggage requirements. Remote Lands does not manage or operate aircraft on behalf of our clients, but rather acts as a liaison to the very best operators in Asia and North America.
Once we have selected the operator and the aircraft, and we have decided upon your itinerary, Remote Lands will work closely with the operator to ensure the myriad of details are in place: flight paths, flyover permits, landing permits, catering, crews, etc. There are many quirks that are particular to each of the countries and the many different Asian airports, and these must all be dealt with appropriately in conjunction with local experts.
Safety is our primary concern. We work only with the most experienced charter operators, and all flights are operated by Part 135 carriers. All operators must meet the stringent standard of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for safety, security, maintenance and service under FAA Regulation 135. All aircraft must have an ARG/US-certified Pilot-in-Command and Second-in-Command, and must carry appropriate insurance and all required documentation.
See our suggested itineraries for examples of the types of private jet journeys that we can arrange.
