Japanese Travel Coordinator (Bangkok Office)

We are looking to hire an experienced Japanese travel planner in Bangkok skilled in booking hotel rooms, planning itineraries and dealing with local tour operators in Japan. The position will require written and verbal communication with our DMC in Japan, as well as communicating in English with our US office on a daily basis.

Qualifications

  • Native Japanese speaker
  • 4 year university degree, ideally in English and/or travel industry
  • Good computer and Internet skills that include using MS Word, Excel, instant messaging, Skype, and email
  • 2 years relevant work experience with a tour operator or travel agency
  • Good written and spoken English and Japanese. (And the ability to translate Japanese into English)
  • Excellent phone etiquette, communication skills, and friendly personality.
  • Hard-working, proactive, intelligent and able to work under pressure
