Day 2

Chitwan National Park

After breakfast, drive to the airport and enjoy a quick and relaxing flight to the Bharatpur airport. Then, head into Chitwan National Park, known for its incredible population of rare and endangered species. Here, you will be briefed about the park’s daily program before enjoying a guided jeep exploration of the grounds. After, retire to the park’s resort for a relaxing overnight.

Day 3

Chitwan National Park

Rise early and enjoy a guided journey through various birding areas of the park. After lunch, hop in a traditional canoe and adventure into the jungle for a lesson in tracking local wildlife. After, return to the resort for a delicious dinner and a night of rest.

Day 4

Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve

After breakfast, enjoy a scenic, six-hour drive to Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve. Known as Nepal’s ‘Birdwatcher’s Paradise”, the reserve is home to a recorded 439 species of birds as well as one of Asia’s few elephant stables. After an afternoon and evening spent admiring the surrounding nature, head to Koshi Tappu Wildlife Camp for a tranquil night of refreshment and rest.

Day 5

Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve

Before breakfast, take a leisurely nature walk throughout the vicinity. Later, adventure along the Sapta Koshi River by raft for a guided exploration of water and wildlife. You may see birds, water buffalo and dolphins. Then, enjoy a riverside lunch before an afternoon of birdwatching and a relaxing evening back at your scenic camp.

Day 6

Kathmandu

After a light breakfast, enjoy a few hours of exotic birdwatching before returning to Kathmandu. Once here, spend the evening dining on local cuisine and taking in the city’s cultural nightlife before retiring to your hotel for a relaxing sleep.
