The acceptance of your Booking Form and deposit by Remote Lands, Inc. (Tour Operator) creates a contractual relationship between the Tour Operator and the passenger/participant (Client), in the private jet journey provided by the Tour Operator. After reading the terms and conditions, the Client must indicate acceptance of the Terms and Conditions by signing and submitting the Booking Form, along with the deposit to the Tour Operator.
Tour Price:
USD $108,888 per person, based on double occupancy.
The single supplement cost is USD $38,888.
All prices are based on two persons sharing a room. For those desiring a single room, a single supplement has been provided and is subject to space available (maximum 2 single occupancy travelers).
All prices and fares are quoted in U.S. dollars.
The rates are based on current tariffs and are subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances. While the Tour Operator will make reasonable efforts to maintain the listed prices, Tour Operator reserves the rights to levy a surcharge if it is necessary. Tour Operator reserves the right to do so and will notify the Client at the time of final invoicing.
Inclusions:
Transportation on a Airbus ACJ319 (or similar) private jet with 16-18 guests.
All taxes, resort accommodation, group shared and private transportation as indicated in the
itinerary, airport transfers on arrival in Kathmandu, Nepal and on departure in Colombo, Sri Lanka, excursions and other group and private activities as detailed in the itinerary, beginning with arrival in Kathmandu, Nepal on Oct. 14, 2024 through departure from Colombo, Sri Lanka on Oct. 28, 2024.
Breakfast daily and lunch and dinner as indicated in the itinerary.
Complete tour activities, including extensive options at most destinations.
Private car, driver, and guide as indicated in the itinerary– typically 9:00 – 17:00 unless
otherwise indicated.
Visas for Nepal, Bhutan, and Sri Lanka.
Bottled water throughout the program (during sightseeing, at scheduled meals, and in your room).
All beverages, including house pour alcohol, aboard the private jet and at special events and
cocktail parties on land.
Beverages and house pour alcohol with included meals at Amankora.
All meals during your stay at Amankora and Amanbagh.
Laundry services (not dry cleaning) during your stay in Bhutan and India.
Transfers and porterage for one large suitcase and one small suitcase per person throughout the
trip.
Internet access in hotels, where available.
One 60-minute massage per person at Amangalla.
Gratuities for your private guides and drivers for all touring and transfers.
Exclusions:
Transportation from clients’ home to the airport.
International airfare between departure city and Kathmandu, Nepal and between Colombo, Sri
Lanka to your destination city.
Private car, driver, and guide outside of what is indicated in the itinerary – typically, evening
services are excluded.
Travel, Medical and Emergency Evacuation Insurance.
Passport fees.
Visa arrangements and fees for India (and other visas as required for your nationality).
All items of a personal nature such as souvenirs, laundry, snacks, telephone charges.
Any beverages not mentioned in the Inclusions on land and/or not specifically mentioned in the
itinerary.
Beverages with your included meals at Amanbagh.
Minibar charges.
Meals listed as on your own account on the itinerary.
Any optional activities and private excursions outside of the itinerary.
Medical costs and immunizations.
Any tips or gratuities not specifically mentioned as included in the total price will be at your
discretion.
Reservations and Payments:
Reservations will be confirmed, based upon availability, upon receipt of the Booking Form and payment to the Tour Operator. Deposit fee amounts will be contingent upon initial payment dates, as detailed in the payment schedule below. The confirmation fee can by paid by major credit card or by cheque made out to “Remote Lands, Inc.”or by wire transfer. Please scan and email the Booking Form to [email protected].

*Payments on deposit due-dates must include past deposit amounts due, if not yet paid. In order for the booking to be confirmed, the total deposit paid to date must equal the cumulative % balance due according to the payment schedule.
Cancellation & Refunds:
Any cancellations and requests for a trip refund must be sent to Remote Lands in writing via email. Cancellations will become effective as of the date of the email receipt.
Cancellation on or before April 14, 2024: 50% of total deposit paid up to cancellation date is refundable Cancellation after April 14, 2024: No Refund
No refund will be provided for early departure and any non-usage of any portion of the itinerary or any service indicated within the itinerary, including any unused sightseeing, accommodation, transportation, meals or any other services included in the journey.
We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance including trip cancellation insuranc e protection. The Tour Operator reserves the right to cancel the private jet journey due to inadequate enrollment that makes the trip economically infeasible to operate. The Tour Operator also reserves the right to postpone the private jet journey due to force majeure or other events beyond their control (such as border closures and travel restrictions due to COVID-19). If Tour Operator postpones or cancels the trip prior to departure, you can choose to have your deposits rolled over to the rescheduled journey, moved to another Aman Jet Expedition (pending availability) or fully refunded.
Please note that costs for visas, special optional experiences, commercial air tickets and pre- or post- tour arrangements may not be refundable.
Insurance:
Client is responsible for travel insurance, including trip cancellation, health and accident insurance coverage and medical evacuation. The Tour operator strongly suggests CFAR “Cancel For Any Reason” policies and can provide suggestions for international trip insurers.
Aircraft:
The private jet flights will be performed using one Airbus ACJ319 Jet with 19 VIP-style lay-flat seats. The Tour Operator reserves the right to substitute aircraft if necessary. Your itinerary may include flights on smaller aircraft operated by local approved airline carriers. Seating on these aircraft will be based upon the configuration of the aircraft.
Baggage:
No responsibility is incurred for loss of, or damage to client’s baggage and/or personal property by Tour Operator.
Meals:
Meals will be provided as per the itinerary. B- Breakfast, L – Lunch, D – Dinner. Where a meal is listed as on your own account, the meal is not included and may be taken at leisure either in a resort restaurant or outside of the property and you will pay directly.
Visa Documents:
Entry visas are required for all countries visited on the trip itinerary depending on your passport. Tour Operator will obtain visas for clients upon arrival for Nepal, Bhutan, and Sri Lanka.
Acquiring visas for India and other countries based on your passport in advance of the journey is the responsibility of the Client.
Failure to obtain visas and/or entry permits does not negate the terms and conditions. Any extra costs for rerouting Clients without visas and/or entry permits will be the responsibility of the Client.
Single Accommodations & Suite Upgrades:
A limited number of single rooms (two maximum) are available at a single supplement charge on a first- come, first-serve basis. Suite rooms are available at several resorts – supplement fees are listed on the Booking Form and are subject to availability at the time of reservation.
International Airfare:
Please inform Tour Operator if you require assistance in arranging commercial/private international flights between your departure city and Kathmandu, Nepal/Colombo, Sri Lanka.
Pre- and Post-Tour Arrangements:
The Tour Operator is able to assist the Client/s with private pre-and/or post-Tour arrangements. Please notify if additional touring and/or hotel accommodations are desired.
Itinerary Changes:
Every reasonable effort will be made to maintain the tour itinerary as planned, however, the Tour Operator reserves the right to modify, change, or postpone the itinerary in the best interests and the safety of the group, in the Tour Operator’s sole discretion. The operations of all flights are subject to foreign government’s approval. In the event that a landing or flyover right cannot be obtained by the carrier, at our discretion, alternative arrangements will be made.
Health and Wellness Requirements:
This is an active program, which requires walking and climbing stairs. As such, the Client is requested to make a realistic assessment of personal health and fitness. All Participants are expected to be in active good health, to enjoy traveling as part of a group, and to be ready to experience and accept cultural differences. Prior to traveling, it is recommended that the Client visits a personal physician for a check- up and to discuss any medical requirements/recommendations for the journey. For up-to-date recommendations on specific health precautions for the areas you will visit, consult your physician and the Centers for Disease Control. Any physical condition requiring special attention, diet, or treatment should be reported in writing upon reservation.
COVID-19 Policy
While Remote Lands and the Aman Jet Expeditions do not require Covid-19 testing or vaccinations for our journeys, we must adhere to the restrictions put in place by the countries we are visiting. We will inform the client should there be any necessary entry requirements for their journey.
Release of Liability and Acknowledgment of Risk:
The Client/s understand(s) that the private jet trip includes travel to remote countries and areas in Asia that are inherently risky. The Client assumes the risks associated with this trip including: forces of nature; weather; terrorism; civil unrest; war; strikes; local laws; accidents; itinerary changes or modifications; and all transportation including land vehicles, boats and aircraft that are not necessarily operated or maintained to standards found in North America.
The Client/s assume(s) all risks associated with altitude, illness, physical injuries sustained, disease, alcohol consumption, physical exertion, and sporting activities, knowing that access to evacuation and/or suitable medical supplies and support may not be available. The Client/s assumes full responsibility for personal baggage and personal possessions and effects.
Remote Lands, Inc., including its partners, affiliates, officers, directors, shareholders, employees, agents, and successors (hereinafter, "Released Parties"), does not own or operate any entity which is a service provider for Client journeys. Remote Lands purchases all transportation, accommodation, dining, and all other services from a variety of independent entities. Remote Lands and all other Released Parties are not responsible or liable for the gross negligence or intentional acts by any service provider or other third party and shall in no way be held liable for (A) any damage to, or loss of, property or injury to, or death of, persons occasioned directly or indirectly by an act or omission of any other provider, including but not limited to any defect in any aircraft, watercraft, or vehicle operated or provided by such other provider, (B) any loss or damage due to delay, cancellation, or disruption in any manner caused by the
laws, regulations, acts or failures to act, demands, orders, or interpositions of any government or any subdivision or agent thereof, or by acts of God, strikes, fire, flood, war, rebellion, terrorism, insurrection, sickness, quarantine, epidemics, theft, or any other cause(s) beyond their control, and (C) any and all claims, actions, or losses for bodily injury, property damage, wrongful death, loss of services, lost profits, consequential, exemplary, indirect or punitive damages or otherwise that may arise out of or occur during your travel in connection with the Tour. For the avoidance of doubt, the “Released Parties” shall include the Aman Group (which means the group of companies whose shares are held or beneficially owned, in whole or in part and whether directly or indirectly, by Silverlink Resorts Limited or any subsidiary, whether or not wholly owned, thereof), and its officers, directors, shareholders, employees, agents and successors. The Participant waives any claim against all of the Released Parties for any such loss, damage, injury, or death, including any right to seek consequential, punitive or exemplary damages against any of the Released Parties for any reason whatsoever. None of the Released Parties shall be liable for any air carrier’s cancellation penalty incurred by the purchase of a nonrefundable ticket.
The passenger tickets in use by the carriers shall constitute the sole contract between the carriers and the passenger; the carriers are not responsible for any act, omission, or event during the time of the expedition.
Express Assumption of Risk & Responsibility:
In recognition of the inherent risk of the travels and related activities in which you are intending to engage, you confirm that you are physically and mentally capable of participating in the journey, that you willingly and voluntarily assume full responsibility for any injury, loss or damage suffered by you or caused by you. By registering for the Tour, you certify that you do not have any mental, physical or other condition or disability that would create a hazard for yourself or other Clients.
Tour Operator reserves the right in its sole discretion to accept, decline to accept or remove any Client on the trip and reserves the right, subject to the terms and conditions contained herein, to withdraw any part or all of the trip and to make such changes as may be necessary.
Arbitration:
Any controversy or claim against Tour Operator arising out of or relating to this Agreement or the performance there under, including without limitation any claim related to bodily injury, property damage, or death, shall be settled by binding arbitration in New York, NY, U.S.A., in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association then existing, and judgment on the arbitration award may be entered in any court having jurisdiction over the subject matter of the controversy. Such proceedings will be governed by substantive New York law. This agreement to arbitrate does not waive or modify the liability release contained in this Terms and Conditions document.
Exclusive Governing Law & Jurisdiction:
This Agreement shall be governed by federal law and the laws of the State of New York, USA, without regard to conflicts of laws principles. With respect to Tour Operator: If the right to seek arbitration is for any reason waived by both parties, or if judicial review of any arbitration is sought, any action or legal proceeding arising out of this Agreement shall be brought exclusively in the courts of the State of New York. In connection with any action or legal proceeding arising out of this Agreement, the parties hereby specifically and knowingly waive any rights that either party might have to demand a jury trial.
