Singapore’s art scene has become recognized on the global stage, attracting international attention with its abundance of art museums, galleries, and festivals. Popular international annual art fairs held in the city include Singapore Art Week, Singapore Biennale, Singapore Night Festival and Singapore International Festival of Arts. Embark on a quick tour through the city’s top museums and galleries. From sculptures to paintings and digital media, the range of experiences will delight all age groups of enthusiasts and aficionados alike.

DAY-TO-DAY

DAY 1: Singapore

Arrive at Changi Airport and meet your guide for your private transfer to your hotel. Choose between the waterfront Fullerton Bay Hotel or the classic Ritz Carlton. The Ritz's hallways and lobby are graced with over $4 million worth of art, with fifty pieces considered "museum worthy." Relax and unwind from your flight for the rest of the day. Those arriving in the morning or wanting to dive into the art scene can opt for one of many art classes or creative sessions in a variety of mediums appealing to both casual and serious enthusiasts. Discover modern calligraphy with watercolor paints, learn the basics of handcrafting leather goods or jewelry making with local artisans, or hone your painting skills at a studio with unlimited paint supplies and iced tea at your disposal.

DAY 2: Singapore

A feast for the senses awaits today as you explore the highlights of Singapore’s art scene. Serious art aficionados can opt for the accompaniment of an expert in the field. Experience the world’s largest public display of modern art in Singapore and Southeast Asia at the National Gallery Singapore, a visual art institution housed in two national monuments – City Hall and former Supreme Court. At the Singapore Art Museum, view the best in contemporary art from Singapore and Southeast Asia with works from artists ranging from avant-garde pioneers to mid-career artists and emerging practitioners. Explore innovative galleries of Curiosity, Inspiration, and Expression at the ArtScience Museum which combine art with science, media, and technology. Stop at Gillman Barracks, former colonial barracks turned contemporary arts cluster featuring international art galleries, art institutions and charities aimed to foster creation, generate discourse and showcase innovative art.

DAY 3: Singapore

This morning learn the story of the city-state at the National Museum of Singapore through exhibits featuring kinetic sculptures, digital interpretation of 20th century Malaya, abstract photography, murals, three-channel immersive video installation and other media  created by local artists.  Spend the rest of the day exploring the scenes that matter to you. Those interested in urban styles from young street artists and illustrators may want to check out dynamic galleries like Kult Gallery and 28th Fevrier. Design enthusiasts can tour the National Design Center and see how more than 200 iconic and popular designs in Singapore across Product and Industrial Design, Fashion, and Visual Communications has impacted the country’s economy and development. The Red Dot Design Museum, although small in size, showcases award-winning ideas and prototypes across product design and clever concepts. Connoisseurs seeking to see or buy works from internationally-renowned artists can choose amongst a wealth of public and private galleries dotted around the city.

DAY 4: Departure

After a final breakfast, transfer to the airport and fly onward.
