Kongde Lodge

This small-group expedition, running from May 18 to June 2, 2025, begins in the vibrant city of Kathmandu, where you'll stay at the charming Dwarika's Hotel. From there, you'll venture into the heart of the Himalayas, staying at the finest lodges courtesy of Mountain Lodges of Nepal. Each lodge is selected to ensure maximum comfort and a truly immersive experience in the breathtaking landscapes of Nepal.

Your trek will take you through some of the most iconic and lesser-known stops on the way to Everest Base Camp (EBC). You'll traverse Phakding, Monjo, Namche, Deboche, and Kongde, culminating in a private tented camp at EBC. This journey allows you to hike at your own pace, with shorter hiking days that let you soak in more of the stunning scenery and rich cultural heritage.

Norgay is an Indian Nepali Sherpa Everest climber and mountain guide. He is also the son of Tenzing Norgay, who along with Sir Edmund Hillary, were the first men to reach the summit of Mount Everest in 1953. A key moment of Hiking & Helicopters in Nepal: The Secret Path to Everest is reaching Everest Base Camp on May 29, World Everest Day, alongside Jamling Tenzing Norgay, in honor of his father’s historic first ascent.
