Day 1

Fly first class commercial to Bangkok, Thailand. Check into the elegant Oriental Hotel and indulge in its hedonistic massage and spa services. Take a boat across the Chao Phraya River for a gourmet dinner and lively Thai dance performance along the vibrant riverfront.

Day 2

Take a private car to the Bangpoo Country Club for a round of golf on the Arnold Palmer-designed course. After lunch return to the city and choose from a variety of interesting cultural activities - from the typical, such as visiting the gorgeous temples and palaces, to the unusual, such as participating in a young monk ordination ceremony. In the evening, attend a private dinner hosted by members of the Thai Royal Family at their magnificent home on the river bank.

Day 3

Fly one hour to Dalat in the Vietnamese highlands where the French built their splendid vacation homes in what was known in the 1920's as "Le Petite Paris". Play golf at the country's top ranked golf club, the Dalat Palace Golf Club, and have a lovely picnic lunch on the well-manicured lawn of an old French colonial villa. Board the jet for Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) and check into the five-star Continental Hotel, built in 1881, and the setting for Graham Greene's "Quiet American". Attend a private family celebration such as a wedding or religious ceremony and participate in local Vietnam life as only an insider normally can.

Day 4

Spend the day in the venerable old city of Saigon, which still feels a bit like Paris - baguettes are sold on every corner, and French influence is ever present in the architecture, cuisine and overall culture. Split up into small groups and visit the private homes of local fishermen and their families on the Mekong. Go to the local food market with the fisherman's wife - a talented Vietnamese chef - and help select the fresh fish and fruit and vegetables for lunch. Have an informal private cooking class before devouring a simple but delicious home cooked Vietnamese meal. In the evening board a yacht for sunset cocktails and a traditional Vietnamese dinner, watching real life unfold in front of you whilst sailing down the Mekong.

Day 5

Board the jet for the breathtaking island of Bali, Indonesia's Shangri-la, with its picturesque beaches, sheer cliffs, lush vegetation, rice terraces, steep gorges and exotic wildlife. Bali has it all - astonishing natural beauty, an incredibly rich cultural heritage and some of the kindest and most gentle people in the world. Play golf at Bali's top rated golf club, the Nirwana Bali Golf Club, or at the Handara Kosaido Country Club, where the course is located inside an extinct volcano. Stay at the splendid Amandari or Amanusa and indulge in a sybaritic Balinese massage. Cocktails and traditional Balinese dinner under the stars at the home of one of Bali's most interesting families.

Day 6

Play more golf, take a helicopter over the island, or visit a few of the more than local 20,000 temples and palaces in Bali. Split up into small groups and visit homes of remote villagers, and participate in a private family ceremony or religious ritual, such as a tooth filing (to rid the body of the 6 weaknesses: lust, greed, anger, drunkenness, confusion and jealousy), a wedding, or a funeral (a joyous celebration where the dead person is released into the afterlife). Dinner followed by a fascinating Kecak fire dance performance (on hot coals, where the entranced dancer feels no pain) and a Sanghyang dance traditionally performed as an exorcism to promote peace and health within a village.

Day 7

Fly to the Philippines and check into the plush Peninsula Hotel in Manila. Dinner at the home of a Filipino golf champion and other top golfing friends.

Day 8

Play golf at the Orchard Golf and Country Club in Cavite designed by Arnold Palmer. Optional day trip by helicopter for non-golfers to Lake Taal and the spectacular Taal Volcano, an active volcano on a tiny island within a larger volcano. Traditional Filipino dinner at the private home of one of the Philippines' top families, who will throw a fabulous fiesta and pig roast in our honor.

Day 9

Fly to Bhutan, and check into the plush Amankora hotel in the magical little Buddhist kingdom perched high in the Himalayas. Almost untouched by the outside world until a few years ago, Bhutan holds on fiercely to its rich cultural heritage. The people dress in gho and kira robes as they have for centuries, and buildings follow the traditional Bhutanese style, straight out of a child's fairytale book. Have dinner with Bhutan's top government ministers and business leaders.

Day 10

Play golf at the Royal Thimpu Golf Club, the world's highest golf course (host of the Yak Open tournament which gives yak parts as prizes). Take an exhilarating helicopter ride up into the Himalayas, and see the sacred and awe-inspiring Tiger's Nest Monastery clinging to a rocky mountainside ledge above a 4,000 foot sheer drop. Go to a charming mountaintop village in Bhutan that is normally three days hike to reach, and have lunch with the local villagers. Traditional Bhutanese dinner with the country's leading dignitaries and intelligentsia.

Day 11

Fly back to Bangkok, check back into the Oriental Hotel. Relax!

Day 12

Fly home.
