Mandarin Oriental
Mandarin Oriental’s history spans both distant and recent past with the Oriental Hotel in Bangkok opening in 1863 and the Mandarin Hotel in Hong Kong opened only in 1963. The group officially formed in 1974 and acquired both eponymous properties, resulting in two ‘flagship’ hotels.
Mandarin Oriental properties are marked with distinctive design and a strong sense of place. Committed to exceeding guest expectations and being a leader of innovation in the luxury hospitality industry, Mandarin Oriental delivers its signature hospitality service and modern luxury with oriental charm as it continues to expand globally.
