We cannot easily install new plumbing fixtures, but we can do almost anything else that is physically possible!

Personal Staff

Private Chefs: Personal cooks can accompany you if you have a special diet, or just prepare your personal favorite foods wherever you might be. Fresh foods of all types can be flown in upon request. Private chefs can also be brought in to remote locations where the food is sub-standard or where it does not suit your own personal tastes.

Security Personnel and Close Protection Specialists: Whether you have your own security detail or not, in Asia it is sometimes imperative to have local personnel on hand as well. Remote Lands has relationships with all types of security and law enforcement in each country, ensuring that you have the proper level of security at every point during your trip.

Personal Secretary: In addition to your local guides and drivers, a secretary can handle your international communications and correspondence and a myriad of minute details. He/she can also help make last minute changes to your itinerary as you go along, as your needs, desires and whims may change.

Childcare: For any special needs that your children may have, we can hire the appropriate babysitters and other childcare specialists to make their travels more enjoyable and comfortable. Remote Lands is also happy to make children's activities, events, equipment, games, toys, clothing, food, etc. available in each of your destinations.

Beauty/Fitness: Personal trainers and fitness instructors, beauticians and hairdressers, massage therapists, and private medical staff can be brought in to accompany you for all or part of the journey.

Technology/Communications

Cell phones/Blackberries: Each time you step off the plane in a new country, each member of your party can be handed a local cell phone, all ready to go and programmed with the relevant local phone numbers. If you already have unlocked GSM phones, we can give you local SIM cards.

Personal computers, printers, fax machines and other hardware can be installed in your accommodations prior to your arrival.

Other Amenities and Services

Photography Album: A highly talented professional photographer can tag along and shoot you throughout the trip, or a series of well-qualified, locally based pros can meet you in each destination. At the end of the holiday we will create a beautiful, annotated leather-bound photo album that will be a treasured memento of the journey.

Plan B Itineraries: Remote Lands can create contingency plans for daily itineraries where the first choice of activities requires fine weather. If it happens to rain on those days, Remote Lands can instantly and painlessly switch to the Plan B inclement weather arrangements.

VIP Arrival: To be met immediately off the plane and rapidly swept through customs and immigration is de rigeur for those flying privately, but Remote Lands can also arrange this service for most commercial flights as well (note that some countries and airports do not allow this for security reasons).
