The festive season is upon us once again, and this year we'd like to celebrate by sharing with you some of the community projects we work with in different parts of Asia. We strongly believe in giving back to the people who provide such a warm welcome and such amazing experiences for our clients, and we support various organisations in the region that dedicate themselves to helping local people (and animals!). We believe tourism should have a positive impact, and as well as supporting these projects we also enable our clients to get involved in a hands-on capacity during their trip.

Thailand - Elephant Nature Park
Located about 60 kilometers outside Chiang Mai in Northern Thailand, The Elephant Nature Park or ENP was established in the 1990's with the aim of providing a sanctuary and rescue center for injured elephants, and is the result of decades of work, sweat and risk on behalf of Thailand's elephants as carried out by Lek Chailert. Known as "the Mother Teresa of endangered and at-risk elephants," Lek was selected as Time Magazine's "Hero of Asia." She's been featured on Animal Planet, in National Geographic and the San Francisco Chronicle.
