On 29 June they ran a feature on one of our newest destinations, Siberia, and featured a selection of our luxury Siberia travel itineraries including Classic Siberia, and our 8-day Lake Baikal: Cruising the Blue Heart of Siberia trip, ideal for the very adventurous who have traveled everywhere else and are seeking exciting new remote destinations.

24 Reasons to Travel
  Departures, the elite travel magazine for American Express Platinum Card & Centurion members, included Remote Lands' range of Indonesia private sailing experiences in their feature on 24 Reasons to Travel This July. The article gave special mention to Aman's luxurious new Amandira private schooner which spends summers cruising between Amanwana resort and Komodo National Park, home of the amazing Komodo Dragon, and winters in the stunning islands of Raja Ampat which offers some of the world's finest scuba diving. 
 
LA Times
Going with the Knowing
  In this LA Times article about adventure travel, writer Paul Rogers takes a look at the growing trend for adventure tours led by well-known experts. Remote Lands is included for our work with Himalaya-based Jamling Tenzing Norgay, son of Sherpa Tenzing Norgay, the first man to climb Mt Everest along with New Zealand's Edmund Hillary in 1952. Renowned orangutan expert Birute Galdikas in Borneo is also mentioned in the story.
