This year has given us many reasons to be thankful. As the world reopens to international travel, allow us to welcome you back to Asia. We’ve been pleased to take travelers from Dubai to Phuket, Oman to the Maldives, Uzbekistan to Abu Dhabi this year and, as we look forward to more of our favorite places opening to vaccinated travelers, we wanted to take a moment to thank you for being part of the Remote Lands family.

Happy Thanksgiving, with much love from the entire Remote Lands team, and as you celebrate, have a look at a few destinations you can visit in 2022.

Whether it’s for the food, beaches, or jungles, Thailand remains one of Southeast Asia’s most treasured destinations — filled with luxury and cultural delights that will astound travelers for many years to come. Following the island of Phuket, the rest of Thailand opened to vaccinated travelers without quarantine in November, putting the Land of Smiles back at the top of Asia’s must-see travel list.

If you want to spend the New Year in true style, book your ticket to Dubai, which is hosting some of the year’s most spectacular celebrations. From the world’s highest infinity pool to underwater restaurants, Dubai has fast become the world’s most famous destination for conspicuous consumption, but travelers can also take to the deserts for dune bashing under starry skies and bedouin charm — all with Remote Lands.

One of the more recent countries to open to international travel, India is a favorite Remote Lands destination. From tigers to the Taj Mahal, nowhere on Earth has such a dynamic range of experiences. Contact Remote Lands to learn how you can visit India in 2022, whether you want to explore the rhinos and snow leopards or walk in the footsteps of the Mughal emperors.

The Maldives is simply paradise. Private islands, snorkeling, yachting — this one-of-a-kind destination is the ultimate holiday oasis. Travelers can lounge in some of the world’s most decadent beach resorts and swim with whale sharks by day and at night indulge in fine dining and stargaze through private telescopes into light pollution-free skies. Truly adventurous travelers can try The Nautilus Maldives’ newest adrenaline rush: jumping out of a plane from 12,000 feet above into the Indian Ocean.
