Amankila

Amankila’s suites sport spectacular views of the sea and the nearby, jungle-covered peaks. There are a total of 34 individual beach houses, designed according to traditional Balinese aesthetics and replete with thatched, alang alang roofs - woven from grass and bamboo twine. Amankila's suites are set in a separate part of the resort, but are easily accessed via raised wooden walkways.

Guests can experience true Balinese holistic care at the Amankila, with its extensive facilities that can cleanse the body and feed the mind. The Beach Club, nestled into the base of a cliff, provides the setting for the Amankila’s large pool, while also supplying guests with watersports equipment and lessons. Yoga classes, to cleanse the spirit and body, can be done at the Beach Club or in the privacy of one’s room, and a library has an extensive collection of books and up-to-date newspapers and magazines.

The resort offers exotic regional and contemporary international cuisine, in a large restaurant over looking the sea. Guests may also request private dining either in their suites or idyllic secluded locations around the resort. Local Balinese dancers and school children perform traditional dances daily, which guests may enjoy during mealtimes. Guests may also, if they wish, learn the secrets behind Indonesian cooking at one of the resort’s cooking classes and market excursions.
