Getting Tribal in Papua New Guinea

December to March is wet season in Papua New Guinea. Temperatures vary across different parts of the country, but the highs usually reach about 32°C (89.5 °F). Rain can reach over 300 mm in the monsoon months, though these are among the finest months for surfing when you'll find the best waves off the north coast and the islands. January and February are also a superb time to checking out the country’s world class diving, particularly Milne Bay. For those willing to brave the rains, it is also a good time to see the superb plumage and outré courtship displays of the islands’ birds of paradise. Most of the flora and fauna here are endemic and there are opportunities to see tree kangaroos, spine-covered echidnas and huge flightless birds such as the cassowary

We had been to Siem Reap before ... but this trip was truly one-of-a-kind, an insiders look into the life and culture of the Cambodian people, truly a trip of a lifetime.
Your on-the-ground guides and logistics were top-notch, and I would recommend you to anyone.
From the moment I happened upon the REMOTE LANDS website over a year ago, browsed the options, I knew that this would be well worth it. The entire staff is nothing less than professional with service that made us feel like royals.
You are invited to Remote Lands’ signature Aman Jet Expeditions, in partnership with our friends at Aman. These are small group journeys designed for people who usually travel independently.
