FOR FOODIES

There are a lot of good reasons to visit Hong Kong and Macao, but perhaps the best is the exceptional food, both Asian and Western. Remote Lands is proud to offer the ultimate in culinary experiences in Hong Kong and Macao, providing a collection of both fine dining and casual local cultural cuisine.

This week The Chairman took top honors at the Asia's 50 Best Restaurants 2021 awards, becoming the first Hong Kong restaurant to take the No.1 spot. Hong Kong claimed 11 restaurants on the list, the most of any country in Asia, cementing the region’s status as one of the most impressive cities in Asia for fine dining. Hong Kong’s neighbor to the west, Macao, also featured on the list with Wing Lei Palace.

  CLASSIC HONG KONG & MACAO

This classic Hong Kong and Macao journey will show travelers the best of these bustling cities, from high-end hotels and glittering casinos to local markets and fishing villages. Spend five days experiencing Hong Kong and then drive on the 34 mile bridge-tunnel system, the world's longest sea crossing, to Macao on a whirlwind, ultra-luxe journey.

  • Colonial Reflections: Only an hour’s high speed jetfoil or drive apart, Hong Kong and Macao are two sides of the same coin: tied to the same Chinese roots, yet distinctly different in architecture and cuisine due to Hong Kong's British colonial history vs. Macao's Portuguese.

  • Culinary Delights: Get a taste of Hong Kong’s beloved dim sum and try your hand at making your own dumplings while in the city that does it best. Then, snack your way through Macao’s own delicacies, from porkchop buns to Portuguese egg tarts.

  • Yin & Yang: Complement your visit to the sophisticated global metropolis of Hong Kong with Macao’s casino wonderland and historic sites.
