July through October and it is well into monsoon season in Bangladesh, where it gets cool and wet. Very wet. These months see about 80 percent of the nation's rainfall, causing intense flooding across the country. Most parts of the country receive at least 2,300 mm of rainfall per year. Due to its location just south of the foothills of the Himalayas, where monsoon winds turn west and northwest, the region of Sylhet in northeastern Bangladesh receives the greatest average precipitation. The western region of Rajshahi is a rare relatively dry area, which proves useful for visiting the numerous archeological sites here, particularly Puthia city and its notable Hindu temples and palaces built by zamindar aristocrats.

Here is a small selection of the kind words our clients have said about us recently.
We had a wonderful time on our trip to Sri Lanka....we definitely had numerous experiences that would not have occurred had we just used one of the bigger travel agencies.
Remote Lands planned a wonderful trip for us to Myanmar. The itinerary included many unique stops that would not have been available to us in a packaged trip.
Everything came off smoothly as planned. All the Remote Lands guides were excellent, polite and attentive to our needs.
You are invited to Remote Lands’ signature Aman Jet Expeditions, in partnership with our friends at Aman. These are small group journeys designed for people who usually travel independently.
