Why I love Macao

It is typhoon season in Macao in May through September, and it is hot and wet. Summer is very warm to hot, often rising above 30 °C (86 °F) during the day. The hot weather is often followed by heavy rain, thunderstorms and occasional typhoons. July is the warmest month, the average temperature being 29 °C (84 °F). Rainfall is huge at this time areas reaching over and above 300 mm. Tourists feeling lady luck on their side invariably escape the long hot wet nights by spending an evening or two at one of the city’s many casinos. It is the only part of China where gambling is officially legal, and more money is gambled here than even Las Vegas. The widest range of amenities can be found at the Venetian, the world’s largest casino.

Here is a small selection of the kind words our clients have said about us recently.
Thank you for putting together such an inspiring trip through Indonesia. We used two different charter boats and, for one leg of the journey, a private charter flight and all were of extremely high quality.
We must express our many, many thanks to Remote Lands for all of the help and for planning such a wonderful, successful trip!
You are invited to Remote Lands’ signature Aman Jet Expeditions, in partnership with our friends at Aman. These are small group journeys designed for people who usually travel independently.
