See ItineraryIt is typhoon season in Macao in May through September, and it is hot and wet. Summer is very warm to hot, often rising above 30 °C (86 °F) during the day. The hot weather is often followed by heavy rain, thunderstorms and occasional typhoons. July is the warmest month, the average temperature being 29 °C (84 °F). Rainfall is huge at this time areas reaching over and above 300 mm. Tourists feeling lady luck on their side invariably escape the long hot wet nights by spending an evening or two at one of the city’s many casinos. It is the only part of China where gambling is officially legal, and more money is gambled here than even Las Vegas. The widest range of amenities can be found at the Venetian, the world’s largest casino.
An Asia-focused magazine brought to you by Remote Lands - a platform for adventure, luxury, and authenticity from experts and explorers around the continent.
For nearly 500 years, after Portugal first established their colony on the western side of the Pearl River Delta, Iberian and indigenous Chinese traditions have evolved alongside each other, creating a way of life in Macao that is so utterly unique that there is no other like it, anywhere on Earth.
The Las Vegas of Asia has plenty of wholesome treats for families on the lookout for sun, fun, food, and culture.
Whether you jump on a full stomach or an empty one is up to you, but the Mocha Macao Tower’s death-defying bungee feats pair well with suckling pig.
Here is a small selection of the kind words our clients have said about us recently.
