Shangri-La Xian

Why We Love This Hotel :

Location: Set in lush landscaped gardens, the Shangri-La Xian offers tranquility with quick access to the city sights.

History: This ancient capital is replete with historic remnants, including its immense city walls.

The Shangri-La Xian is perfectly equipped for both leisure and executive travelers, with full spa and meeting facilities, a heated indoor pool, large gym and modern business center. The renowned CHI Spa incorporates traditional Chinese medicine and Asian healing philosophies into many treatments.

Business Center

A modern business center offers meeting rooms, courier and fax services, printing, photocopying, scanning, translation, computers and audiovisual equipment.


Located on level 3, CHI Spa is open from 10am to midnight and offers a full range of treatments, including holistic CHI journeys, stress-buster techniques, reflexology, hot stone massage and more. There is a sauna and steam room onsite.


A 24-hour fitness center offers all modern equipment, trained personnel and LCD TVs for guests wanting to work out. Towels are provided.


The heated 25-meter pool offers wide city views, plus loungers and sofa seating. Open from 6am to 11pm to fit in with busy traveler schedules.

Top-notch Asian cuisine and European classics are offered at the Shangri-La, including regional delicacies and Cantonese fare. A variety of signature dishes showcase fresh local produce, with Thai cuisine also offered by master chef Sujita Thipyakorn.

Lobby Lounge

An atrium lounge provides an ambient setting for drinks, light meals and informal gatherings. Views showcase the Shangri-La gardens and live music is provided in the evenings.

Siam Garden

Offering authentic Thai cuisine using imported herbs and spices, Siam Garden is a casual dining venue open for lunch and dinner. The menu includes classic Thai dishes as well as modern Thai-inspired creations.

Tian Xiang Ge

Chef Chao Oi Fong presents decadent Cantonese cuisine in a sophisticated setting. Open for lunch and dinner Tian Xiang Fong offers both classic dishes and modern specialty creations accompanied by international wines.

Yi Cafe

This casual international restaurant offers all-day dining, with live cooking stations making dishes to order. A range of regional cuisine and European fare is on offer.
