Hotel Rooms Kazbegi

The Hotel Rooms Kazbegi is a modern boutique hotel designed to fit into its high-altitude landscape, offering guests signature Georgian hospitality and a comfortable upscale space to enjoy the grandeur of the Caucasus mountains. The property is dressed in rustic-chic design with raw wood floors, local plush carpets, fireplaces, and an abundance of couches and bookshelves, creating the ultimate cozy atmosphere to take in the breathtaking mountain views framed by expansive windows. The 155 rooms are designed with rustic minimalism, defined by a neutral color palette and natural materials such as the local 150 year old oak used for the furnishings and wood flooring and cognac-colored leathers. Large windows take in ample natural sunlight while capturing beautiful vistas of the surrounding forests and woodland. Select rooms have views of Mount Kazbeg and the iconic Gergeti Trinity church. The in-house restaurant serves traditional Georgian cuisine alongside a selection of Western European dishes, which guests may enjoy with mountain views from the terrace. Adjoining the restaurant is the bar, a laid-back spot to enjoy classic cocktails and cigars. Other facilities and services include a swimming pool, 24-hour front desk and room service, complimentary wifi in all guest rooms and public areas, laundry and ironing service, and shuttle service to local areas. Hotel Rooms Kazbegi is located in Stepantsminda, a three-hour drive north from Tbilisi.

Why We Love This Hotel

Location: Tucked far into the north, the stunning mountain highlands scenery of Kazbegi is one the most impressive sights in the country. Hotel Rooms serves as the ideal base for exploring the area, whether hiking, quad-biking, or heli-skiing. The expansive terrace looking out to the Greater Caucasus range is an unbeatable setting for brunch and après-ski.

Design: Another gorgeous property by the Adjara Group, Hotel Rooms Kazbegi is impeccably dressed for its mountain location. The rustic chic mountain lodge vibe is exquisitely captured yet refined and full of character. Raw wood, oversized windows with ample natural light, cognac-leather armchairs, fireplaces, and bookshelves, all conspire to induce coziness.

Arrival in Style: While you could drive three hours from Tbilisi, those short on time and or wanting to make a grand entrance can choose to be whisked to the mountains by helicopter, an unforgettable journey with breathtaking views in itself.
