Pulo Cinta Eco Resort
The heart shaped island of Pulo Cinta literally means love island, and this name is not derived solely from its heart shaped geography. Back when Celebes was part of the Dutch trading routes, the young Prince of Gorontalo fell in love with the daughter of a Dutch trader. Though their love was forbidden, they escaped to Pulo Cinta, where they were able to carry on their romance in secret, below the remote region’s breathtaking stars. Today, lovers and friends alike can enjoy this stunning paradise with the comfort of luxury accommodations and such modern amenities as electricity and running water.
Why We Love This Hotel
History: The romantic getaway once provided safe haven to a forbidden love between the Prince of Gorontalo and the daughter of a Dutch trader.

Underwater Excursions: Whether snorkeling or diving, the resort is excellently located for underwater enthusiasts, with several pristine dive spots nearby.

There was nothing provided by Remote Lands that was anything other than 1st class.
Peter & Bryna, New Jersey
We are intrepid travelers who love to get off the beaten track to explore. Remote Lands did a great job of arranging our trip to some of the less trodden parts of Indonesia.
Family from Australia
Thank you for putting together such an inspiring trip through Indonesia. We used two different charter boats and, for one leg of the journey, a private charter flight and all were of extremely high quality.
