These spacious (45 sqm/484 sqft) environmentally-friendly rooms are designed using local materials stone, slate, and wood based on traditional Tibetan homes, and adorned with locally-sourced, soft natural fabrics. The well-appointed rooms come with indulgent en-suite bathrooms and huge floor-to-ceiling windows delivering panoramic views, and Nilgiri mountain as the backdrop to your stay. Rooms have an open-plan bedroom combined with a living area and a separate full bathroom.
Guests can relax with a hot steam sauna with floor to ceiling windows that look upon inspiring landscapes then take a dip in the nearby plunge pool to cool off.
Guests can soak in the spa room which has burnt umber stained wooden flooring and rich textured walls.
The Aara Bar, named after a local Tibetan/Sherpa liquor, offers cozy leather and wood sitting, classy cocktails, and floor-to-ceiling window views of the inspiring valley landscape.
The 60-seat Nilgiri Restaurant, named after the majestic mountain it looks out onto, offers a menu of modern Nepali cuisine and western cuisine which uses locally sourced and foraged produce, and a large outdoor dining patio where diners can enjoy dining al fresco.
