Day 1

Day 2

Bandar Seri Begawan

Today you’ll set off on a cruise along the Brunei River, drifting through pristine mangroves and spotting the endangered proboscis monkey. Herons, kingfishers, egrets and countless more bird species inhabit the surrounding jungle, giving you a taste of Borneo’s ecological wealth. You’ll make your way to Kampong Ayer water village, a sprawling overwater city connected by wooden walkways. Wander the boardwalks that connect the city, or jump in a water taxi to explore this fascinating village with its stilt houses, mosques, schools and shops.

Day 3

Bandar Seri Begawan

Head to Luagan Lalak Recreational Park today for a spot of bird watching. The forests and marshland of the park are abundantly inhabited by birdlife, including the white-bellied sea eagle. After enjoying the serenity of this protected area, you’ll visit Sungai Liang Forest Reserve and hike through verdant forest, learning about local flora and fauna from your guide. Return to your luxury Brunei resort in the evening. 

Day 4

Bandar Seri Begawan

Today you’ll enjoy a full-day excursion of Ulu Temburong National Park, enjoying a leisurely boat transfer to this vast green area. Walk above the tree canopy on raised wooden pathways and suspension bridges - some at dizzying heights - and spot local wildlife amid the foliage: white raja butterflies and rhinoceros hornbills are among the residents here. Return to Bandar Seri Begawan for the night and relax in your luxury room at the Empire Hotel and Country Club.

Day 5

Bandar Seri Begawan

Immerse yourself in nature once more at Bukit Patoi Park in Temburong. Bukit Patoi is a forested mist-clad mountain with several hiking trails that lead to the summit, where you can enjoy spectacular views of the lowlands. Along the way, you might discover hidden caves or strange rock formations, or spot one of Borneo’s native deer. In the evening, head back to your hotel in Bandar Seri Begawan for your final night in Brunei.  

Day 6

Departure

After a delicious gourmet breakfast at the hotel, you’ll be chauffeur-driven to Brunei International Airport for your departure flight.
