This 10-day immersive trip of Thailand begins in Bangkok, where travelers will stimulate their senses by tasting the local street food, hearing the clattering of coins in votive bowls, smelling the sharp lemongrass while making tom yum soup, and cooling down with fresh coconut water. The following day, travelers will depart to the northern city of Chiang Mai, where families will tour the city by rickshaw, sample signature Thai dishes, trek alongside elephants, learn how to turn vegetables and fruit into edible art, and battle one of the world’s largest freshwater fish: the giant Mekong catfish. Ending the trip on a more relaxing note, travelers will leave the city life behind for a tropical getaway at Soneva Kiri resort.
