See ItineraryExperiencing a changing of the foliage colors in autumn, this season in Armenia lasts from September to the end of November. Although October and November see an increase of precipitation throughout the country, rising to around 30 and 25 millimeters respectively, the result is only around 8 rainy days a month. Though dropping quite drastically at the onset of winter, temperatures throughout the lowlands remain pleasant at around 20C throughout most of autumn. Autumn marks the harvest season in Armenia, including the wine festival season.
An Asia-focused magazine brought to you by Remote Lands - a platform for adventure, luxury, and authenticity from experts and explorers around the continent.
With epic landscapes and lore that is ancient, complex, and tragic, Armenia offers a visceral historic bonanza that takes in some of Christianity’s most sacred symbols.
Garni’s first century Roman-style temple just east of the capital of Yerevan has become one of the country’s most famous sites – and for good reason.
In both mythology and in the landscape, dragons are an important part of mythology and history in Armenia. Ancient gods and monolith builders believed that, in Armenia, here be dragons — or rather vishaps.
Here is a small selection of the kind words our clients have said about us recently.
It was everything we expected and then some. Remote Lands was great and I would definitely use your agency again for another trip
From the moment I happened upon the REMOTE LANDS website over a year ago, browsed the options, I knew that this would be well worth it. The entire staff is nothing less than professional with service that made us feel like royals.
The guides they selected were very good and, in three cases (Seoul, Hoi An/Hue, and Angkor Wat) simply outstanding.
You are invited to Remote Lands’ signature Aman Jet Expeditions, in partnership with our friends at Aman. These are small group journeys designed for people who usually travel independently.
