Azerbaijan in October

The heat of summer remains in the lowlands and especially Nakhchivan into September, while the mountains are already beginning to cool down. Most of the country including Baku is warm but not uncomfortable, making it one of the best times to visit. October sees some precipitation around the mountains, which increases come November. Lankoran in the south sees the most rainfall between September and November, bringing humidity to its semi-subtropical plantations. Snow is already forming in the highlands and clouds blanket the skies across the country.
