Remote Lands was founded by seasoned business and travel entrepreneurs Catherine Heald and Jay Tindall, both of whom have lived, worked and traveled all over the world. The New York and Bangkok-based company is backed by Skymoon Ventures, a California venture capital firm founded by Silicon Valley entrepreneur and Rambus Inc. co-founder Dr. Mike Farmwald.
