Rajmahal Palace RAAS
Why We Love This Hotel
Revamped Royal Standard: Neither suffocatingly traditional nor drearily contemporary, the Rajmahal is something else entirely. Tall bay windows and mirrored doors reflect the whimsical and geometric-patterned wallpapers and fabrics that have been uniquely created for each room in the palace. The celebrated designer Adil Ahmad crafted these motifs to echo the rich history of the palace while making a nod to its reinvention as a glamorous haven for today’s royalty and luxury travelers.
Exclusively Tailored Experiences: The Rajmahal offers a gamut of activities, such as guided historical tours of the palace and bustling local markets, bicycle rides through the Pink City, and yoga lessons, in addition to the exclusive royal treatment of attending a polo or cricket match from the royal box and visiting the royal family’s own sacred temples.
Enclosed Oasis: Nestled in the heart of the vibrant capital of Rajasthan, this extraordinary palace ringed by high stone walls is a quiet oasis of garden terraces and lawns. Relax in the absolute luxury of the Jaipur royal family’s stunning abode and beautiful art deco spa after a day out exploring the marvelous sights of the city

Palace Rooms
Ranging from 342 to 468 square feet, the bright, plush Palace Rooms are each adjoined by a dressing room and an en-suite bathroom and have sofa seating for two, as well as a writing desk.
Palace Suites
The Palace Suites range from 647 to 960 square feet. Two have been home to the Prince and Princess of Wales during their regular polo-season visits to the Rajmahal Palace. Each consists of one double bedroom, a dressing room, and an en-suite bathroom.
Royal Apartments
The Yuvraj Suites and Maharaja’s Apartment served as the private apartment of two successive maharajas. Its entrance hall will transport you to the authentic grandeur of that regal past. The apartment comprises an elegant living area, a separate bar and drawing room that opens out onto a private terrace, and a private eight-person dining room surrounded by portraits of Jaipur’s maharajas. The Maharani’s Apartment contains an additional full-service kitchen and heated plunge pool.
Royal Suites
Named for the esteemed visitors Earl Mountbatten, Queen Elizabeth II, and Jackie Kennedy, all of the Royal Suites boast a large double bedroom, an en-suite bathroom, a dressing room, and a drawing room, along with spare bedrooms. At more than 1,000 square feet each, the suites allow guests to enjoy a great deal of comfort and privacy.
Extensive Lawns and Gardens
Ten splendid acres of grounds shielded from downtown Jaipur by high stone walls – what would make for a more luxurious urban getaway? Sip a crisp gin and tonic while relaxing on a garden terrace and watching a brilliant sunset across the vast palace grounds.
Fitness Center and Swimming Pool
Never miss a workout, and get your laps in at the full-sized outdoor swimming pool that is nestled in a grassy courtyard between the palace’s pink walls.
The Spa
With views overlooking the gardens, the resplendent Spa is the perfect place to indulge and relax. Its carefully selected menu of therapies to rejuvenate the mind and body put a sense of well-being at the heart of Rajmahal Palace.
51 Shades of Pink
The design for the brilliant pink and sparkling white dining room was inspired by an iconic 1952 Vogue cover and the Sharbata courtyard of the City Palace, for which the Pink City takes its nickname. Stunning natural light makes this the perfect spot for breakfast and lunch.
Afternoon Tea
Guests may enjoy a fresh selection of the royal family’s favorite baked goodies, as well as an assortment of coffees, teas, and other beverages, on the terraces and manicured lawns of the palace.
The Colonnade
This is the perfect place to enjoy a light dinner, meet a friend for coffee, or take in an after-dinner cocktail or late-night snack. The Colonnade is open 24 hours a day and serves a delightful menu of freshly prepared comfort foods. Tall glass doors offer superb views of the palace lawns and gardens.
The Orient Occident
A particular favorite of H.H the Queen Mother, Rajmata Padmini Devi of Jaipur, this elegant restaurant is a fine dining destination for rare traditional recipes of the Jaipur region, as well as a wide-ranging assortment of other delicacies.
The Polo Bar
This bar is as much a celebration of Jaipur’s polo tradition and prowess as an elegant restaurant and lounge. Peruse the numerous trophies and accolades honoring Jaipur’s best while choosing from a formidable menu of drinks and culinary options.
