October through November is autumn in Macao, and generally cool, dry, sunny and pleasantly warm with lower humidity, a wonderful time to visit with temperatures hovering in and around 25 °C (77 °F)and, 80 percent of days bone- dry. Aside from the cool, crisp weather, autumn is very much the events season in the city. For motor sports enthusiasts the biggest event of the year is the Macao Grand Prix, usually held in November, when the main streets of the Macau Peninsula are converted into a racetrack, much like the Monaco Grand Prix. November also plays host to the famed Macao food festival, and the Fringe Festival, featuring dance, music and theater.
