The temperature starts to wind down in September though relief comes to the desert only at October when days start to average in the mid-80’s. November is even cooler, dipping below 80F. Evenings are mild and comfortable for outdoor strolling and alfresco dining.

Celebrating the date fruit, this festival hosted in Buraidah occurs annually for three months starting in August. Visitors will find more than 30 varieties of dates, as well as date products such as molasses, dough, sugar, jam and chocolate.
