One of the most memorable experiences was visiting the pandas in Chengdu. Getting a private tour ... proved to be everything we wanted and more.

The Legian Bali

Why We Love This Hotel :

Location: Located on the tropical Indonesian island of Bali, on Seminyak Beach, The Legian Bali has a prime location on the stunning golden banks of this elongated beach, with its enchanting tropical waters and breathtaking sunsets.

History: Once a quiet fishing village with locals produce traders coming and going on a daily basis, Bali’s Seminyak became popular with tourists in 1970s when the first beach club opened, and has been prospering ever since.

Service: The concierge service here covers all guest requirements, whether guests require a private boat or international flight advice or perhaps just a glass of champagne for a special night, they will accommodate it all at The Legian Bali.

The facilities and activities within The Legian Bali are extensive, exciting and well-thought through, to accommodate the needs of every guest. From relaxing in the tranquil setting of the spa to enjoying a rejuvenating yoga session by the beach, there is bound to be something to suit all tastes.

Business Center

Business travelers will appreciate the hotel’s business center, featuring an extensive library, high-speed internet access, and secretarial services.

The hotel features a breathtaking three-tiered swimming pool, with one level exclusively for adults - a 98-foot seaside infinity pool, and other pools available for those of all ages. The pools are open daily until 6pm.

Nestled into a private stretch of Seminyak Beach are a series of spa suites for both couples and single guests. Highly-trained therapists perform indulgent treatments that meld Bali’s ancient healing rituals with modern techniques.

Yoga & Fitness

Guests can enjoy a complimentary Hatha yoga session four times a week, in the mornings. Private yoga training sessions can also be booked. The Hotel also has its own health center, where guests can go to keep in shape, and can even hire some of Bali’s top personal trainers.

With one main restaurant, two chic contemporary bars, plus a lounge, there are plenty of places to fill the picturesque nights at The Legian Bali. Guests can even satisfy their hunger by ordering from the extensive menu, while still remaining in the comfort of their luxury waterfront rooms.

The Lobby Lounge

This living room-type lounge features fine Indonesian art and an extensive multilingual library. Serving fresh juice, tea, or coffee, among other treats, along with a selection of imported cigars, this is an ideal place to relax with a good book or meet up with friends or colleagues.

The Ocean Bar

This casual-yet-innovative bar is open for lunch, afternoon cocktails, and dinner. Dishes include favorites like Thai beef salad, grilled calamari, and homemade hoisin duck pancakes. It can also be transformed into a private group dining venue for up to 22 people.

The Pool Bar

Guests can enjoy poolside dining and the Bali tradition of sundowners at this fresh, breezy bar that stays open until midnight.

The Restaurant

This all-day dining casual-chic restaurant features hearty breakfasts, light and succulent lunches, and delectable gourmet dinners, with an award-winning wine list to match.
