COMO Uma Canggu
Situated on Bali’s southern coast in Canggu, COMO Echo Beach is a 2.2 acre property bordered by rice paddies and positioned near some of the island’s best surf. The property offers 119 rooms, including suites and penthouses. Rooms have WiFi, an LED TV, yoga mats, air conditioning and a rain shower.
As a result of a partnership with surfing company Tropicsurf, the resort offers customized surf instruction for all levels and surfboard rentals are available onsite. The surf in this area provides a range of opportunities for both experienced and novice surfers. The resort also organizes golf excursions, and nearby Nirwana Bali Golf Course is located a 15-minute drive away in Tanah Lot.
Resort facilities include a fitness center, a lagoon pool, 2 pilates studios, 2 yoga studios and a lap pool. COMO Shambhala Retreat provides daily wellbeing classes, such as yoga and pilates, and the center specializes in holistic treatments, including massages and facials. The COMO Beach Club is open all day and serves Australian, Asian and European cuisine with a focus on locally sourced ingredients. A juice and salad bar is also available, and beverage and food service is offered in the lagoon pool area as well. The resort is located approximately 45 minutes away from Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS).

The Como Uma Canggu offers a wide variety of accommodations ranging from rooms and suites to private residences and penthouses. Rooms take on a light, relaxed aesthetic in keeping with Bali's laid-back atmosphere. Beds are draped in Egyptian cotton linens, and spacious bathrooms offer luxurious walk-in rain showers with COMO Shambhala amenities. Some options even have standalone bathtubs. Many rooms feature views of the Indian Ocean; some have direct pool access, or even their own private infinity pools. Modern amenities like Wi-Fi, LED televisions, and multimedia hubs are available, as are private bars, Nespresso coffee machines, and tea-making facilities.
Canggu Rooms
With a bright, modern aesthetic, these 32 sun-filled rooms are open and airy. Covering 388 square feet, these rooms are fitted with king-size beds draped in white Egyptian cotton and appointed with a variety of other furnishings ideal for lounging.
Garden Patio Rooms
Covering just over 600 square feet, these spacious rooms appointed with king-size beds also feature a private courtyard with lounge furniture and an outdoor patio shower. There are also four studio rooms of a similar floorplan that exchange the patio for a private balcony.
Suites
Covering 807 and 914 square feet, respectively, the two Junior Suites feature large internal courtyards with outdoor showers, two separate bathrooms, and a light and airy bedroom with a king-size bed. Guests can also consider upgrading to the sprawling Batu Mejan Suite, a 1,260-square-foot suite with a master bedroom, a spacious living room, and a studio area with space for an additional bed. The upgraded suite also offers a walk-in closet and a balcony with views of the Indian Ocean.
COMO Penthouses
The resort's 12 COMO penthouses cover more than 4,300 square feet, have three separate bedrooms, and offer the resort's finest views of the Indian Ocean. Covering two floors, the master bedroom is on the top floor while two others are below. The master bedroom is directly connected to a leafy deck area with a 32-foot-long infinity pool. The penthouse also features an elegant living room and a large kitchenette.
One-Bedroom residences
Fitted with a living room, kitchenette, and master bedroom, these spacious accommodations cover a sprawling 1,140 square feet. Their private balconies also offer views of the Indian Ocean. Guests can also consider upgrading to the One-Bedroom Lagoon Pool Residences, which are located on the ground floor and have decks that open up directly to the COMO Uma Canggu lagoon pool.
Two-Bedroom Residences
At 2,432 square feet, these large accommodations have one regular bedroom and one master bedroom, a spacious living room, and an airy, lightly appointed kitchenette. Both of the bedrooms are fitted with king-size beds, and their en-suite bathrooms are furnished with large freestanding bathtubs; balconies also look out upon the Indian Ocean. Guests can also consider staying at the Two-Bedroom Lagoon Pool Residences, which are located on the ground floor and have decks that open directly out to the COMO Uma Canggu lagoon pool, or the Uma Pool Residences. The latter option has a similar floor space, facilities, and décor to the Two-Bedroom Residences, but it is also fitted with its own 32-foot-long pool and features private views of the Indian Ocean.
The resort is fitted with a luxurious spa offering a number of lavish treatments, yoga and Pilates studios, and an ample, well-equipped gymnasium. There are pools for lounging and exercising, and guides are available to help guests enjoy some of the best surfing in the region —if not the world. Cultural experiences like visiting a thousand-year-old temple and other holy sites of Bali can be arranged, as can numerous other biking and nature excursions.
COMO Shambhala Retreat
The resort's on-site spa, the COMO Shambhala Retreat, specializes in hands-on healing and holistic treatments inspired by a combination of modern science and ancient Eastern wisdom. With six discrete single treatment rooms and two double rooms, the spa offers a number of luxurious spaces that are ideal for enjoying a variety of massages, facials, and beauty treatments. The COMO Shambhala’s signature blends of essential oils are employed during the process.
Gym
A distinctively modern space, natural lighting fills the gym through its floor-to-ceiling windows, illuminating a comprehensive range of exercise machines and dedicated TRX Suspension Training and CrossFit stations. Personal trainers are available upon request, and there are also two yoga and Pilates studios each, which regularly hold classes overseen by experts.
Pools
The resort's main lagoon pool spans 377 feet and is surrounded by lounge chairs, and floating lounge chairs can also be rented for those wanting to relax atop the water. There is also a 25-meter lap pool at the COMO Beach Club for swimmers.
Topsurf
The resort is situated on the Canggu coastline, which is one of Bali’s hottest surf spots, and guests can enjoy premier surfing tutelage from regional pioneers of the sport at Tropicsurf. Guides cater to guests of all abilities, so whether you're just starting out or are looking to perfect the craft, Topsurf is certain to have the guide for you.
The COMO Beach Club is the resort’s main restaurant that serves up an eclectic combination of international dishes and indulgent cocktails. There is also a healthy “grab and go” bar with a large selection of fruit drinks and light bites; a shack also offers drinks and snacks to people lounging around the lagoon. In-room dining is available at all hours.
COMO Beach Club
Though inspired by traditional surf shacks, the Beach Club sets itself apart with an eclectic global menu set to a soundtrack of live acoustic musicians and original DJ sets. Designed to cater to both the refined and the laid-back patron, the restaurant offers dishes made with fresh, regional ingredients, modern cooking techniques, and a wood-fired grill. There are also a number of original cocktails and mocktails available, which are a perfect addition to the backdrop of the bar's dramatic panoramic views —especially during sunrise and sunset.
Glow
This healthy “grab and go” bar serves fresh cold-pressed juices, smoothies, snacks, and tasty salads. It is perfect for light meals before hitting the beach or between meals. Packed with healthy nutrients and living enzymes, the bar’s concoctions also can provide surfers with the extra boost they need to propel them from sunup to sundown.

Located next to the lagoon pool, this beverage-and-food stand serves those lounging in the pool area.
