Capella Yangyang

Located in Yangyang near Songjeon Beach, Capella Yangyang aims to become the largest wellness resort here with a total of 261 rooms. There will be restaurants featuring wellness-inspired and regionally-sustainable cuisines, and a total of five indoor and outdoor swimming pools, with direct beach access. The luxury wellness and lifestyle resort will be located on over 72,534 sqm of prime beach front property facing the Donghae Sea and offer unique sensory-engaging immersive experiences such as a bathing hot spring garden. South Korean architect Lee Ki-chul and Thierry Boon, who designed the Qiandao Lake Andaz in China, are leading the resort’s design and planning. Lighting designer Andrew Jaques, landscape designers Lee Ho-young and Lee Hae-in, and a food and beverage manager from AvroKo Hospitality Group are also joining the project.
